Trail – Access Hospitality

Joe Cripps has lived and breathed hospitality and retail technology for 15 years. Following an early career with Fourth, he went on to build a consultancy transforming back-office systems at Pret, Itsu and many other high-street names. 

In 2014 Joe co-Founded Trail (trailapp.com), a simple app that guides teams through their day, step-by- step, from opening checks and food safety to cashing up. Digital checks replace paper logbooks, while reports and alerts give managers complete visibility across their business. When integrated with ePOS, rotas and other systems, Trail becomes the central operational hub for the entire organisation. It's a completely new way of managing teams,changing the way food, drink and leisure businesses are run, from independent restaurants and coffee shops to high street brands like Leon, wagamama and Brewdog.
